[Plugin: Slyd] not working in template or post

I tried using Slyd in my index.php custom template and it’s not displaying. I used all your example options but changed the category from ‘foo’ to ‘all’.

Just to test, I tried using the shortcode in a new post. Same options. And then I got this message:

Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 134217728 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 8 bytes) in /Users/montchr/Sites/sitename.com/sitename.dev/wp-includes/cache.php on line 402

Update: Upon reloading, the message changes. I got a message each time similar to this:

Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 134217728 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 1254 bytes) in /Users/montchr/Sites/sitename.com/sitename.dev/wp-includes/query.php on line 1671
