  • Tired of waiting fot nothing I’m using “Sharing is caring” with Pineterest and fully working.

    Have a nice time guys

    Dear Sociable,

It’s now been a month since my last post. I understand that Sociable is a free plugin, but I honestly have no interest in using or buying any app from your company because of your extraordinary lack of customer service. You would have received high customer service marks if you had simply said that Pinterest for Classic was a feature that you were not yet offering and that you had no ETA as to when you would be offering it. Instead, you promised to offer it and you even gave a specific date for when it would be available. That date was over a month ago and you still haven’t delivered. Even worse, as comment after comment has been made, you’ve refused to acknowledge your mistake and respond to the people who have come to depend on your plugin.

I will find a new plugin to use for my social marketing needs and I will go out of my way to warn people to not use any of the plugins you offer (regardless of whether they are paid or not) because of your complete lack of customer service.

If you’re as irritated by Sociable’s silence as I am, please list the alternatives that you have found and spread the word about Sociable’s lack of customer service.

I just dumped Sociable, too. After a couple years of using it. I went with Sharing is Caring, based on the recommendations above. Took about 10 minutes to switch out and configure. Pinterest is surging in popularity, and you just have to move a little bit faster, Sociable. Like I need to explain that to the (seemingly) web-savvy. Peace!

Had the same issue. Ended up using the WP Socializer plugin instead. Its very developer friendly and the social buttons output style is almost identical to classic sociable.

    Re: Pinterest in Sociable

Yup, been waiting for an answer on this as well, but have waited long enough. Moving on to some of the other suggestions noted above…and perhaps to developers who are more responsive to their community.

I’m sure it won’t be too long before the “Sociable Sucks” or “Sociable Support Sucks” blog posts start to emerge. Nice going guys.

    Lame.

Pinterest for classic mode! Add it please! I too am using WP Socializer for now.
