[Plugin: Sociable] Unable to Re-Enable for Individual Post

  • Using the plugin with WP 2.9 and BlogTheme 2.0.2 by WooThemes.

    I noticed that my first excerpt on the home page had two instances of the text “Share and Enjoy”; the first one was plain text and had no Sociable icons under it, and the second one was appearing correctly.

    I tried toggling Sociable for that post, and now can’t turn Sociable back on. I uncheck the box marked “Sociable disabled?”, and every time I save, the box is checked again.

    I tried uninstalling & re-installing the plugin, however, I still am not able to re-enable it for the first post (the most important one1)

    I am seeing the same behavior on home page: “Share and Enjoy” appearing twice, one in plain with no icons, one as it needs to be.
    One way to avoid it, I found, is to add the excerpt explicitly (even if it is the first few sentences of your post). Yet it is bothersome having to do that. Most of the time automatic excerpts would do just fine for me.

    So, just to be clear:
    I am displaying excerpts on home page.
    I chose to show sociable icons on pretty much everywhere with exception of RSS feed items, and individual pages.
