    Hi!
First of all, congratulations! It’s an amazing plugin!

I’m having a little issue as there seems to be something wrong with the Facebook detection. I’m getting numbers on the other 3 but not on FB, which btw, it’s the biggest source of my traffic.

I’ve checked and double checked the segment to see if the settings were correct and I found nothing wrong.

Not sure it’s relevant or not (as I’m getting numbers from the other segments) but I didn’t create a new app. I used one I already had for FB integration.

    Thanks!
    Ricardo

    Hi rbl,

I think you have to create a Facebook app for each website you want to use it on. I’ve done that, and it appears to be working.

    Hi Daniel!
Not sure if that’s what you read but that app I had previously set up was for my site, not any other.
Anyway, I created a new app and I’m getting the same result: zero on the FB segment, visits in the others….

That’s interesting. How have you been testing for it? Are you tracking your own visits as an administrator? Do you have Google Analytics set up to not track visits from authenticated users?

I use Chrome, Firefox, and Safari for different Twitter, Facebook, and Google accounts. I’m going to keep on testing this myself to see if I can spot my own visits as a user who is not authenticated; I have GA set to not track visits on my site for authenticated users.

Let me know if you happen to notice any differences, and I’ll share my own experience, too.

No. Most of my trafic comes from FB so I’m relying on that to see this working. or not… =)

    RBL,

Google just updated GA to allow for sharing of Custom Segments. Give it a shot and clear out your old one for FB and let us know if that clears it up:
