[Plugin: Social] Stripping html from comments

  • Social is stripping HTML tags from comments – i.e., if someone puts italic tags around a phrase, it doesn’t show as italics when published. I don’t want this behavior – how do I stop it?

    BTW, I do know I can disable Social’s styling of the comments, but that removes the Twitter and facebook comments from view, yet still counts them in the total comment count. So if you have 3 regular comments and one Twitter mention, it says “3 comments”, but without Social’s styling, only two are visible.

    Is this plugin just not being supported? It looks like no questions have been answered or addressed in a very long time.

    If anyone knows a fix/workaround for this one, I’d appreciate it!
