[Plugin: SoundCloud Is Gold] User name not showing up

    I’m having an issue with the Soundcloud is Gold plugin.
    My sets were not updating so I deactivated and reactivated the app. Now, when I want to add my username, there is only a blank box with the “active” banner but my username does not show up, and when I try to add a track to a post/page, the whole page is just blank and none of my songs or sets are showing up.
    I love your app, but this issue is holding up the release of my site.
    I will gladly donate if you can help me get this back up and running ASAP.

    Hi,

    I’ve tested your username and it works ok for me. Maybe try deleting the plugin and reinstall. Sorry can’t help more.

    I’m having the same problem, using WP 3.3.1 and soundcloud is gold v. 2.1 – deactivating and reactivating the plugin resp. deleting and reinstalling didn’t help ?? – guess I’ll have to go back to v. 1.x …

    I think this might not be the username you need. I’ve check on soundcloud and that username doesn’t exist. (https://soundcloud.com/5tefan.negulesco)

    well, that *is* my username. but it gets rendered to https://soundcloud.com/5tefan-negulesco. so, maybe that’s confusing the plugin somerhow…

    Sorry, as said in the faqs, the actual username used by SIG is the one in the url.

    So in your case it’s: 5tefan-negulesco

    Try it, it will work ??

    I know it’s confusing as soundcloud present you with one username, for example “the super dj” but the username they use in their code, which is used in SIG, will be something like “the-super-dj”. One day I will sit down and make a search system for SIG.

    ok, after fiddling around and even deleting the plugin-related entries in the options-table of the database I finally got the plugin working again (really, did the same things over and over again and then suddenly my username – the one with the “-” – got accepted).
