[Plugin: SoundCloud Is Gold] WMode Setting

    I’ll admit I don’t know a whole lot about this but…

    Is there some reason that wmode is set to “window” in the object and embed tags generated by soundcloudIsGold? That makes the flash player appear on top of the standard WP drop-down menus.

    If wmode cannot be set to transparent by default, perhaps it could be an option setting for those that need it?

    Otherwise it’s a great plugin so far. Thanks for all the effort that went into it.

    Hi Flyingpylon (funny name by the way),

    Thanks for pointing that out and the praise, it’s always nice to get some feedback. You’re right I don’t know why I’ve done that, must be a left over from the early stage of development when it was part of my wp theme.

    I will remove it as It’s not needed. Thank you for taking the time to write that down.

    I have to have a think about it, might become a option.
    Default is window if nothing is specified. Transparent seems to reduce playback performances…

    Version 1.0.2 set flash player to have transparent background. That’s temporary until version 1.1 that will have all advance settings, and have the ability to set wmode back to default (window) if needed.
