    Great plugin.

One feature suggestion. I’d like to be able to post a short message about why readers are asked to copy/paste the password. As simple as it is, it may create confusion among some readers – primarily that they may think they are creating an account by using the password. I think they only way to add a text message (could go right under the password boxes) would be to back into the WordPress core. A simple textbox where we could add a message in the Spam Free WordPress settings would be nice.

No core changes are needed, or even changes in the plugin. The WordPress theme controls the comment form. A line could be added just above the Name form field, for example. that explains the password requirement, and that line can be added in the comments.php file.

Thanks for the explanation. I actually looked into the comments.php file in the theme, but couldn’t seem to figure out where this is called. That’s due to my own coding ignorance. I’ll keep nosing around to see what I can find.

Thanks again for taking time to respond.
