[Plugin: Special Recent Posts] Setting number of Posts fails when using shortcode

  • I have been playing around with with your plugin. Which is brilliant.

    Using the widget, I can set the number of posts displayed fine.

    What I really need is to use the shortcode on my page.

    So this is the code I used:
    [srp srp_widget_title=” srp_number_post_option=’10’]
    The srp_number_post_option is ignored. I have tried double, single and no quotes. Can you help?

  • This won’t help you, but I was wondering how you managed to set the number of posts? I’ve tried everything I can think of and cannot get it to set to only 1 post

    Under Special Recent Posts Widget, there is an option Max number of posts/pages to display? within the Basic Options. I set the value there and it just worked for me.

    Unfortunately since I’m not using it as a widget on my page setting it as 1 post won’t work. I thought that might do it but I’ll keep looking! Thanks for the help
