    Upgraded to latest SRP. Widget removed itself from all widgetized areas. Then I added back and get these errors on page (meaning the public can see):

    /var/www/vhosts/communicatto.com/httpdocs/wp-content/plugins/special-recent-posts/cache/MTAwMTAwbm9NRkMtSjgzNWR3LTE1MHgxMTk=.jpg
    Problem detected on file: /var/www/vhosts/communicatto.com/httpdocs/share/MFC-J835dw-150×119.jpg
    File not writeable: /var/www/vhosts/communicatto.com/httpdocs/wp-content/plugins/special-recent-posts/cache/MTAwMTAwbm9zb2NpYWwtaGVhbHRoY2FyZTItMTUweDEwNg==.jpg
    Problem detected on file: /var/www/vhosts/communicatto.com/httpdocs/share/social-healthcare2-150×106.jpg

    Any hints on how to rectify? Much appreciated in advance.

    Cheers,

    Doug

    As specified in the new requirements, you must make sure the /cache/ folder is writable, because now srp makes use of a caching system.
    From that error it seems that folder is unwritable.

    You can locate it at wp-content/plugins/special-recent-posts/cache/

    Pls also check if there is any file in it. Report back thnx.

    Worked like a charm. Thank you Luca!

    Were there warnings I missed in the upgrade process that this cache folder would need to be writeable? Also was there a warning the CSS elements changed?

    Such alerts would help people like me who just hit upgrade and assume things won’t break. I’ll definitely take a look at the upgrade, thanks for your help.

    Cheers,
