Plugin stopped recording views Nov 6

    Great plugin as we have been using it for quite some time now. However, we recently encountered a problem where it stopped recording views of the pages. This is my first time posting so let me know what you need from me to check on the issue.

    Hi @ralphtumaneng,

    Something on your site is preventing WordPress Popular Posts from working correctly. Most likely a conflict with one of your plugins.

    Do you recall making any changes to your site on November 6 or the day prior?

    Hi Hector, my team works with Ralph and it seems like the proxy may be causing an issue with WP Popular Posts (see screenshot: https://monosnap.com/file/qlQi80KWEvDzzmZPSehnWWH8LRz4VO). The site has a reverse proxy set up using Fastly. Disabling Fastly does not fix the issue. We also disabled all active plugins one-at-a-time and doing so did not resolve the issue either. What do you suggest we do next?

    Hey @computercourage,

    No idea to be honest, I’m not really familiar with reverse proxy stuff in general. All I can say is that something is hijacking WPP’s REST API calls, a 301 Moved Permanently HTTP response -as seen on the screenshot I shared before- isn’t a normal response from a standard WordPress setup.
