    Used to work great, but now no images in my feedburner feed

    Hi Chops,

    Hmm, in looking at your feed… I see the images in the feed, and the URL is:
    https://www.quizcow.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/11/star-wars-new-generation.jpg

    for the latest image, which loads fine, however, when viewing the Feedburner feed, the browser is giving a 403 Forbidden error for all the images… and that is always because your website is now blocking external referrers from loading images, known as hotlink protection, and it’s blocking any site from embedding your images. Remove hotlink protection, and images will appear again.

    I don’t know of a way to whitelist certain referrers.

    Thanks for the quick response. I’ve reenabled hotlinks, but the feedburner feed still shows no images.

    Hi Chops,

    I’m still seeing 403 Forbidden for all the images… so it’s still a web server issue. Try looking in your browser console yourself, you’ll see the images are being blocked still.

    When I view the image by itself, now I’m getting:

    Error 1011 Ray ID: 3bdfeac8ad49999d ? 2017-11-15 05:47:40 UTC Access denied

    What happened?

    The owner of this website (www.quizcow.com) does not allow hotlinking to that resource (/wp-content/uploads/2017/11/star-wars-new-generation.jpg).

    Turn off hotlinking in Cloudflare…

    Worked. Didn’t realize Cloudflare was acting as additional layer of hotlink protection. Thanks!
