Plugin Stopped Working after WordPress update

Hi zzzbe,

Can you enable debug mode in your config file? I’m running the plugin without issue in my install which is also 3.8 so I’m thinking it may be some other plugin that isn’t playing well with Document Gallery.

Also, which version of the plugin are you using?

I am Version 1.4.3.
I haven’t made the modification but it is working for only one page one [dg].

Does the plugin allow a document to be used in more than one document gallery.

I have one page with all forms (pdf files) using the document gallery and want to insert the pdf on a second page with [dg]. That’s when it stops working.

I do not know of any reason why a given document would not appear on both DGs. Assuming these two galleries are on different pages, I presume you are explicitly adding the ID of this document on the page where it is not attached?

Can you post the exact shortcode that you are using for each DG?

I am too novice at WordPress and coding to enable debug mode. I tried installing a debug plugin but again it was too hard to work with. Anyway, I have a very basic theme, zeeMinty and not too many plugins.

Still can not add a pdf file to two [dg] gallery’s. Will keep trying. Any let you know.

I’ve gone in and tried to reproduce your symptoms but not getting anything similar. Also, knowing what’s going on behind the scenes, what you’re describing shouldn’t be possible.

Just to clarify, the if you are using the shortcode ([dg]) on a page where the document is not attached, you must use the ids attribute to explicitly include the document ID that you want in the gallery.

Can you post the exact shortcode that you are using for each DG?
