We installed the plugin on a client’s website and mostly worked fine, but we found in Microsoft Edge the contact form wouldn’t submit. After speaking to the Contact Form 7 developers, they told us it was a plugin conflict. When we turned Hummingbird off it resolved the issue.

Do you know if there is a known issue that would cause this to happen? Or is there something that we need to change in the settings to prevent this happening?

    Hi @colemanb,

I gave a quick test in my system but I’m not able to replicate any error. Sounds like the issue might be more due to minification, enabled under Hummingbird > Asset Optimization.

Could you please check if disabling only the Asset Optimization settings gets the issue sorted or not?

This would help in ruling out if it’s specific to the Asset Optimization setting or some other aspect.

You can find the option to deactivate, under under Hummingbird > Asset Optimization > Settings > Deactivate.

If it works fine with the above setting disabled, and with the Hummingbird plugin still active it would mean a conflict due to minification.

Possible to share the page URL where you have the contact form, so that we could have a better idea of what might be causing it?

    Looking forward to your response.

    Regards,

    Nithin
