After activating this plugin, my Dashboard Navigation dropdowns stopped expanding while I hover over them. Clicking Dashboard “Settings” (for example) will expand the menu like a hover *should* do, but then the Dashboard goes to “Settings”, of course, rather than allowing me to select from the dropdown. Deactivating this plugin resolved that hover dysfunction.

Also, I think it would be better to have this plugin’s Settings available from a link on its Statistics page rather than having one of its links at Dashboard Tools and another at Dashboard Settings.

  • I cannot reproduce this problem. Everything works fine on my test-installations. Maybere there’s a conflict with another plugin you are using. Please deactivate all your plugins except link-log and reactivate them one by one. If you are able to find out which combination causes the problem, I’ll try to fix it.

The problem still remains after deactivating all plugins, updating to WP 4.0 and switching to the default 2014 theme…and along the way, I have noticed this plugin also disables the “Select All” button on the Plugins page. If you would like to have a look for yourself and possibly do some troubleshooting at my sandbox site (at your own convenience) — nothing pressing here — just let me know where to send some credentials.

Honestly, I don’t understand that. I also use WP 4.0 and the 2014 theme on my testing site. And I tested with Firefox, Chrome and Internet Explorer. Works fine. No idea…

Yes, please send me credentials via https://smartware.cc/contact. Can’t await to see this!

It is possible there is something wrong in my database, and yesterday I discovered this:

    Enjoy having a look!

The file you sent works just as you said it should, and I thank you!

I am presently in the process of moving my site into a new installation of WordPress, and I suspect my doing that will help confirm the suspicion that my current database is/was the problem…

…and now off to do some link-logging!
