Plugin stops random order

I’m using this plugin to sort one category of posts (attorneys) in alphabetical order (a directory using Divi Staff). It works great on my directory pages, but I have a featured attorney section on the homepage that is supposed to show four random posts. Now it only shows the first four alphabetically. Is it possible to disable the ordering/plugin on just one page to make that work?
