Plugin stops the WordPress login page from appearing!

  • The URL we used to use to login to our website is this. However, it no longer works as the Fancy Coming Plugin for WordPress plugin we installed shows a holding/’coming soon’ page no matter which URL we enter from the site in any browser.

    I’ve also tried various other related URLs, to no avail.

    It’s bizarre that this plugin has even removed the login URL: it’s never happened with any other plugin!

    The only way to login to WordPress is for me to disable the plugin’s folder through FTP.

    How can we use the plugin and still login to WordPress?

    The part of the code that handles the redirection to the coming soon has a check to see if the current page is the wp-login.php and if it the redirection is not done.

    So for some reason that check doesn’t stop it, which is odd.

    Does it happen if the default WP theme is active, maybe the theme has some code in it that causes a conflict.

    Also, can you send over a list of plugins maybe it’s a conflict with one of them, I’ll try to replicate the issue on my installation.

    Also, is it a multisite WP install or a regular one?
