I don’t know exactly why it was happening. It may have had something to do with url encoding. I was passing the url of the plugin as a parameter to the gcalendar-wrapper.php script. In your case “https://” in this parameter seemed to be tripping up the plugin. I removed this and it worked. The wpurl param was being used to generate the url of the nav sprites in the plugin. I got around this by removing the wpurl altogether and am now using hosted images for the sprites.
