• I’ve been using this plugin (1.9.5) for a little while now (very useful by the way!) but I’ve noticed that the configuration value for the after_source (i.e. the supplied HTML to be used if no author is supplied) does not appear to survive deactivation and subsequent reactivation of this plugin – all other configuration values are retained, but this field is reset to no value (i.e. blank). This had been confusing me for some time as I had initially set everything up correctly, tested it, and then a few days later deactivated the plugin during debugging of other issues, and when I re-enabled it, suddenly the layout of my quotes was not exactly how I had expected – took me a while to it figure out since only one of the configuration parameters appears to be behaving this way.

  • I am aware of the problem… actually and I have been banging my head against it for a while.

upon activation the plugin makes a comparison based on the version number after which some settings are created if the version number is older. The comparison for reasons unknown doesn’t work (possibly a PHP or SQL bug) and some of the settings are overwritten even if they exist already.

This problem is yet unsolved but with version 1.9.6 it won’t repeat itself because I disabled the comparison. So please download version 1.9.6. Let me know if it helps.

    Ico,

I’ve downloaded and tested 1.9.6 and the problem has now been resolved (for me at least!).

    Thanks!
