[Plugin: Stray Random Quotes] Remove refresh link

  • First of all thank you very much for this plugin, which works great!

    I have several categories of quote, which I am putting directly into templates based on quote category, not using widgets. That’s fine when the page(s) first loads.

    A problem is arising with the “new quote” link, which seems to ignore the categorisation of quotes, so that if someone clicks it, it will refresh with a quote from another category. Since I have headings above the categories in the templates, and they are VERY different from each other, this looks kinda weird (one cat is Tips, another is Warnings – so you can see how it could be a problem if they were incorrectly labeled!).

    I’d be happy with a way to just remove the refresh link altogether, but ideally to ensure that it only refreshes with quotes from the specified category.

  • That’s a weird behavior… The new version 1.8.2 gives you the ability to remove the “new quote” link, BUT, before you do, please try if also the new version gives you the same problem. It should be fixed.
