[Plugin: Stray Random Quotes] Tagline quotes doesn’t work for me

  • The code you used is correct. It works in my tests.

    What do you mean by “nothing shows up”? If it didn’t work, it would show “[random-quote categories="tagline" noajax="true"]” instead of the tagline, and you would know something isn’t working.

    Please make sure that there are not other html elements loaded before the quote (via quotes>settings) that cause the quote to be hidden. For example a <div> or a <p> before the quotes could cause the tagline to slip out of the header and disappear.

    I seem to be having the same problem. I don’t think the documentation is up-to-date either. Maybe it’s the new upgrade to 2.8?

    This looks like it might be a very versatile widget when working properly and I’d certainly be willing to support it if it gets fixed.
