I switched over to this plugin and just bought my first label. I was charged, however, the label is not generating and the refresh button is grayed out.

I purged cache and shipping label was available to print. Not sure if that was a coincidence. The order was not marked as completed and email was not sent to customer. Something is up with this plugin. Maybe should have given more time before switching over. At this point it is counter productive.

    Hey @seedslocker,

Thanks for reaching out about this. I took a look at the information on our end and everything looks good with the connection to our servers and the transaction.

The label generation process is a little different than it was before. With WooCommerce Shipping & Tax, the print box popped up automatically after the purchase. In the new WooCommerce Shipping extension, you should see a confirmation message after the purchase, which has a “Print shipping label” button you can click to see the print pop-up.

Based on the info you shared, clearing the cache was a good approach. After doing that and reloading the order page, if the order status is still “Processing” and the tracking number shows in the “Shipment Tracking” sidebar widget, you can manually update the order to “Completed” and the customer will be notified and given the tracking number in that email.

Regarding the grayed out Refresh button, are you referring to the “Refresh purchase status” button (seen in this example: https://d.pr/i/u4RrF6)? Or something else?

I never get a confirmation message to print the label. it just gets stuck at this screen https://d.pr/i/u4RrF6

Even though I check the checkbox to mark order as complete and send email to customer, that never happens.

I purged the cache again and the shipping label was there to print, but the order was not marked as complete. Not sure if purging the cache is actually doing anything or the transaction is just taking that long. With the old plugin it was much faster.

    Hey @seedslocker,

Thanks for clarifying. The actual performance shouldn’t be any different between the two plugins, so I wonder if the delay might have something to do with this being the first attempt using the new plugin. If you see any delays with the label generation process on your next order, please let us know.

    Thanks.

    Hi @seedslocker,

After digging into this further, we found an issue that could cause the problem you described and are working on a solution that will be included in an update very soon.

Thanks again for bringing this to our attention!
