I’ve installed Sensei LMS on a brand new WordPress site and there seems to be some issue with the plugin styling. It doesn’t look anything like the screenshots on www.ads-software.com.

Here’s a link to my course page where you can clearly see the problem: https://vidsteps.com/sensei/course/gold-course/

The styling should look like this as advertised (picture is from the wordpress repository listing): https://ps.w.org/sensei-lms/assets/screenshot-4.jpg?rev=2078549

I’ve tried different themes including OceanWP and Divi. I had this on my live site, but in an attempt to rule out other plugins, conflicting css, and theme issues – I setup a new WP install and can still see the problem.

    Hi there

Firstly, the site you linked to is using the Twenty Twenty theme, whereas the site in the listing is using another theme (possibly Canvas or Storefront, I can’t remember).

Try another theme such as Storefront or Twenty Sixteen and it should look more similar.

The main difference though is that in the screenshot, the course lesssons have been divided into modules, which gives you the layout you see in the screenshot.

Try adding modules to your course and see if that helps:

If you continue to have trouble with your theme, please see this guide for further help:

    Hi Dan,

Thank you for your help. It was the modules as you’ve mentioned. After adding them to the course, everything looks how it should.

    Thank you!
