[Plugin: Subscribe To Comments Reloaded] No email sent for subscribers

  • Hi,

    Great plugin with clear and great management, but doesn’t want to work here.
    I have wordpress 3.3.2. blog on my domain (www.mydomain.com/blog)
    I receive email from ‘manage your subscription’, received once an email after a reply to a message (not as admin, testing with different emails I have), but it doesn’t work 99% of time. php mail function works on my website (I use for other stuff, I also receive emails from wordpress for comments posted, etc).

    What can I check ? I have no error message, just no email after a reply (I see subscriptions in dashboard)

    Just a few more informations :

    – wordpress is set so a message is automatically posted (I have nothing to approve)
    – I see StCR subscription without having to approve them (Y or R, no C)

    Here some additional details:

    – The Management-Option-Sektion says that the page (permalinkstructure) blogname/comment-subscriptions does not exist.
    This is not true! It does exist. And I checked the permalinkstructure, too. All correkt.

    – After subscribing, the subscriber does not add up to the subscribers-list at all. So I Think this is not a problem of some php-mailer-function whatsoever…

    Hope you can help soon. It seem other users are having the same problem for a long time, now!

    I think this is a problem with your permalink structure. I need to improve this part of my plugin, most people get confused, and that’s why it’s not working in your case.

    fyi: I have chosen a wp-standard (postname), so blogname/comment-subscriptions should work. It existed and your plugin said it does not.

    Well, I gave up and chose another plugin, that works.
