[Plugin: Subscribe2] Bugs in 8.1 Still Present

  • So the issue with redirects problem is gone but there are still some bugs in 8.1.

    Now when creating a new site in a wpmu installation the following error comes up:

    Fatal error: Call to undefined method s2_multisite::register() in /home/azchipka/public_html/wp-content/plugins/subscribe2/classes/class-s2_multisite.php on line 114

    Thank you for posting a full error message, I’ve applied a fix to the trunk code, same link as before if you would be so kind as to test for me.

    I have installed test version 8.1 on my multisite install (WP 3.3.1) and created a new site. I did not encounter any problems in creating the new site, nor did I receive any error messages.

    BTW, as I’m not terribly fluent in WP, can you confirm something for me? Right now I have v8.0 and v8.1 installed side by side, with v8.0 deactivated. Once you release the official 8.1 code, can I just delete the older v8.0 folder? Or will that mess something up?

    Thank you very much for taking the time to test and feed back. Now I know that it’s working I can release 8.1.

    In order to upgrade correctly I would recommend that you use FTP software to access your webspace and delete the folder in wp-content/plugins that contains version 8.1 of the plugin (the one you are testing. Then apply the update to 8.0 when it tells you that 8.1 is available.
