[Plugin: Subscribe2] Do you need a page if you have widget?

Do you need to set up a page for subscribe2 if you’re using the widget? Does that page just give you the same info as the widget/take you to the same location? If you don’t set it and just leave it pointed to an existing page, will it cause a problem?
