[Plugin: Subscribe2] Email subscription link not working // Admin notification nonexistent

Go to the WordPress admin area and then Subscribe2->Settings. Make sure you’ve selected your “Subscribe” page to handle the form input under the Appearance heading where it says “Set default Subscribe2 page as ID”.

Missing emails needs you to check with your hosting provider to make sure there are no blocks, restrictions or limitations that are in effect that would stop your emails.

The “subscribe” page was already selected. But it is still not forwarding new subscribers to that page.

If you are using any other plugins disable them and test is again. Sometimes certain plugins enforce ‘pretty’ redirects that stop Subscribe2 from working.

Also, try using the Widget and see if that works any better.

If you do narrow it down to a plugin conflict let me know which one.

Thank you MattyRob. By deleting the other plugins and using the widget, it is now sending email notifications and admin notifications. However, now it is only sending out ‘Plain Txt’ emails, even though I selected the full html setting.

There is no setting for global full content HTML emails. You’ve either been looking at your own subscripiton or at autosubscribe options that apply to newly joining registered users.

Hope this is the right thread. My subscribe 2 stopped working; people were no longer getting emails. I installed the newest version, but it’s still not sending emails to subscribers. What can I do? https://terryodell.com/terrysplace

No, the right place is to open a new thread and give me as much detail about your site as you can, like version numbers of what you are using, what you changed (if anything) before it broke and what you have tried so far to fix it.

Please don’t just reply – go ahead and open new thread, that’s what these forums are for.
