• When users subscribe or enter email address to subscribe to my blog, it appears the email has been accepted but the users does not receive a subscription confirmation email and the new email doesn’t appear on the subscription list page. Up until a few weeks ago the plugin worked fine. I do not use Go Daddy, I have the subscription page set up too. I’m at a loss. Any help that you can provide would be most appreciative.

    What changed a few weeks ago between things working and now not working?

    Have you entered an email into the form yourself? What message do you get one screen?

    What version numbers of Subscribe2 and WordPress are you using?

    MattyRob – nothing has changed within the past few weeks. I have entered my email address many times to test and on 2 different networks where we have WordPress installed. The only message posted on the screen I received said please login to manage your subscription setup. We have two different versions of WP — 3.0 and 3.1.2. Users are still able to add subscribers on the backend but we really need to be able to allow users to subscribe from the frontend. We’ll continue to search/troubleshoot to find out what has gone wrong.

    @lmallory,

    You’ll see that message if you try to subscribe with an email address that is already a Registered User in WordPress. Try using an alternative email and see what message you get then.
