[Plugin: Subscribe2] Repeated emails after editing post

  • Hi!
    Thank you for your plugin it’s very useful gor me.
    But I’ve found that its behavior is not good for me in some cases.

    I’m afraid my subscribers do not like to get repeated emails when I’m editing post. But now when I re-edit my postы, for example to correct some links or mistakes, they get secondary annonces.

    Is it possible to change this behavior?
    Do not send letter to subscribers when already published post edited.

    Subscribe2 should only send a repeat email for the same post if you revert it to draft status while you make your edits and then re-publish it. If you simply make changes and then click Update you should not get a new notification.

    Thank you for reply. I’ve found the same info in docs, and will explore more this question after next publishing. May be happens only with me because I’m author of the post?

    And I’m not shure about old registered users (thats registered before installing plugin).
    They are all in Subscribers list. But subscription checkboxes in their profiles are not checked. Will they get any mail? Or should I manually check them to subscribe?

    If their subscriptions boxes are unchecked they won’t get emails until these boxes are checked.
