    What is the permalink structure for your site?
    if works best if you have url rewriting enabled.
    This may be the cause.

    I have only RedirectMatch ^/$ /~wordpress$1
    No rewriting or anything..

    I don’t understand Your point also. Can You explain one more time ?

    What is your permalink structure?
    You can find this at ‘Settings->Permalinks’

    I assume judging from the url of your download that it is set to default. As this is the only case the url should have the view attribute in the querystring.

    If this is not the case there is something unique about your system.
