[Plugin: Sync Facebook Events] Fatal error on first activiation

  • I’ve got the Events Calendar plugin installed and activated without problems. When I try to activate the FB sync plugin, I get an error:

    Plugin could not be activated because it triggered a fatal error.
    Parse error: parse error in F:\WAMP\www\wordpress\wp-content\plugins\sync-facebook-events\sync-facebook-events.php on line 244

    I’m testing on a WAMP localhost environment with WP 3.3.2

    Any help is appreciated.

    I am using wp 3.5 and i am also getting same issue.

    Parse error: parse error in D:\wamp\www\centerpartiet-wp\wp-content\plugins\sync-facebook-events\sync-facebook-events.php on line 293

    Me different by still no-show:

    Plugin could not be activated because it triggered a fatal error.

    Parse error: syntax error, unexpected $end in /var/www/html/tkrumsk/public_html/wp-content/plugins/sync-facebook-events/sync-facebook-events.php on line 293

    line 289 should be like:

    <?php } ?>

    after this small fix fatal error will not show and plugin will activate
