I created a child theme of Twenty Seventeen – WordPress.com version of the theme, and it only created the style.css and functions.php files, and the plugin’s tabs were empty, they did not display any files in the Files tab (for example), but all tabs were empty except for Theme Config tab.

I am working on this for a client so cannot put the link of the page up here, but will discuss when Tech Support contacts me.

We were using the current release of Child Theme Configurator (Free version), it was a fresh install of the plugin done today, on a new WordPress site. I don’t know if the Free version makes a difference here.

    That’s not at all helpful.

Okay, I followed the link and posted the same thing.

If you submitted a ticket we did not receive it. Please try again.

This behavior is almost always caused by a script failure in another plugin. If it were a problem with CTC, we would receive hundreds of thousands of reports.

    1. Right-click and select “inspect” to open the console. Switch to the javascript log and look for any errors being thrown. This will identify the offending plugin.

    2. Deactivate other plugins until the problem goes away.
