[Plugin: The Events Calendar] 1.6 still doesn’t show Today’s events

  • I upgraded to version 1.6 on four of my WP sites, three running 2.9.2 and one running 3.0 beta, and none of them are consistently showing events for today in the events list.

    I was really hoping that this update would resolve that problem.
    I don’t know if it is intentional or not but when adding an event post the event dates default to tomorrow’s date.

    I mentioned this in another post as well but the one site on which I was using Custom Templates totally broke after the 1.6 upgrade. The events list widget displayed okay(though it did not display today’s events) but the grid view, events list view, and single events post views all produced a blank white screen.

    Could there be a conflict in the code of 1.5.6 Custom Templates?

  • When you upgraded to 1.6, did you do it from trunk or from my beta 1 release? The day of events was patched after beta 1 was posted to the forum.

    As for the blank page, not sure. Any chance of getting a test account to take a look? Justin said he had time to do some bug fixing monday.

    All the sites were updated from the stable 1.5.6 release and upgraded automatically via the plugins page.

    I had to revert back to 1.5.6 on the site which was producing the blank pages. I’ll see about a test account and get back to you.

    Due to a particular a configuration of www.ads-software.com, 1.6 was released accidentally. As you obviously pointed out, it isn’t ready, nor will it be for at least a couple more weeks while we work out bugs. Thanks for the bug reports.
