• I’ve read whole TEC forum, but no similar behavior found. It’s weird, but when I’ve activate plugin, all my posts have vanished (also from admin/edit panel). Only grid calendar view is visible as home page, but no events inside (these that I’d create for testing purposes). Sidebars and widgets are not affected. After plugin de-activatoin everything fall back to normal (post, all other stuff is as usual). I’ve made tests with Classic and Default WP theme (my default theme is different) – same result.

Version of the plugin is version 1.5.6, WP is 2.9.2, PHP is 5.2.3
Additionally, I’m also sure that all files are translated well (no errors during installation).

I saw many other sites working with this amazing plugin, so obviously the problem is in my house. Any ideas where how to fix it?

  • Best guess it that this is the result of a conflict with another plugin. I would turn all your plugins off, then turn on TEC to check if it works as expected. If it does, then turn you other plugins on one by one so that we can identify the culprit.

So fast replay! Thanks for support!
I guesss so, but unfortunately I’d deactivate any other plugin than TEC with no visible effect. To be honest, before to install TEC, I’ve test some other calendar related plugins – may be WP database (which table?) is affected some how?

If you remove all plugins, do you still have the issue?

TEC doesn’t alter any tables in WP, but uses the native architecture.

You was right – some other plugin do damage WP, but up to now I can’t find it. De-installation of plugins is still weak point of WordPress. It removes only file structure, but do not drop tables.
I’ve made brand new install on a test machine and everything is OK with TEC (you should expect no less) ??

    Best of luck!!

From my side the case is closed: the problem is not in possible conflict with other plugins, but in Cyrillic names of categories that I have. Actually, only category where event is set must be in Latin – other names, not related with events are not a problem. Just a remark: Category slug were in English and encoding for pages and feeds was set in UTF-8.
Solution were obvious and simple: When I’ve changed event category name to Latin, TEC start working like charm.
So, if you can test it and even fix it…. that will be great.

Interesting! We’ll look into it and see if we can find a solution.
