[Plugin: The Events Calendar] Back to Calendar link in Events Calendar missing

On my website I’m using a theme with a dark background, and when viewing the single event page, the “Back to Calendar” link that’s supposed to be in the upper left hand corner disappears and in it’s place is a transparent thin horizontal line that only appears if you rollover it. What’s the best way to fix this?
