    Have you checked the different templating options available under Settings -> The Events Calendar, to see if those might help adjust things?

    Yes, the default page template is the only one that preserves the layout, yet it lacks the background color. Any idea where the background color of the grid view is set?

    I wonder if the problem is the line

    <div id="post-" class="">

    All of the other pages on my site have something behind the hyphen in post- and some classes listed.

    I really need to find a solution to this soon or jump to another calendar plugin. Any help would be appreciated.

    *just notice a typo in my original question above. The first line after the link should have said

    “Whereas all of the pages elsewhere on the site have a white container/content,…”

    Partial fix — I was able to put a white background behind the calendar itself by adding background: #ffffff; to the following at the top of events.css.

    #tribe-events-calendar-header, .tribe-events-calendar, #tribe-events-content .ical, .events-single #content .ical, a.gmap, .tribe-events-event-list-meta td, .tribe-events-nav, #tribe-events-event-meta, span.back, .eventsListWidget .dig-in, .eventsAdvancedListWidget .dig-in, .gcal-add {
    	font-family:"Helvetica Neue",Arial,Helvetica,"Nimbus Sans L",sans-serif;
    }

    That’s a weird issue; glad to see you got it resolved via a workaround. Would be interested to hear if the 2.0.2 upgrade – coming this Monday – improved things for you. Mind letting me know?

    I’ll try the upgrade. What I managed to do is a partial fix, but still makes the page look unlike all others on the site. Where is the content or container for this page styled?

    Hi Rob – just checking in about the 2.0.2 upgrade? Has it been released?

    Hey folks. The 2.0.2 upgrade was delayed due to a bug we introduced at the last minute; we’ve ironed that out and are aiming to get it out by the end of the week.

    Just upgraded and appreciate the new features. But the issue with the background on the gridview remains unresolved.

    Somewhere the content or container is being styled as transparent. Can you suggest where that might be, as I can’t use Event Calendar if it breaks the look of the client’s site.

    Thanks,

    Hey Tony. Thanks for this and for the email; while we normally are unable to provide specific integration guidance for non-PRO users, I want to make sure we get this addressed for you. As such I’ve got our developer Jonah looking at this now and he’ll be providing me some feedback to relay to you over the next 24-hours (and probably less than that).

    As soon as I’ve heard his take on this, I’ll pass it your way.

    Hi Tony,

    Have you tried changing the events template in Settings -> The Events Calendar to “Default Page Template”?

    Thread Starter tonyfleming

    (@tonyfleming)

    Hi Jonah — That is the current setting.

    (@tonyfleming)

    Hi Jonah — any further suggestions?
