• Hi I just purchased the Pro Version of “The Events Calendar. Thanks guys for developing such a robust WordPress Plugin. Where can I download and edit the main html file? Under Calendar view, I need to change “Events” to “Vehicle”. I know exactly which div and where I need to edit:
<dt class=”event-label event-label-name”>Event:</dt> needs to be replaced with:

    <dt class=”event-label event-label-name”>Vehicle:</dt>

Another option I tested was opening “tribe-events-calendar-pro.pot” through Poedit, however it wouldn’t allow me to make any changes.

Please help ASAP, this project is extremely time-sensitive, I have until EOD tomorrow to make these adjustments ??

Any help would be really appreciated!
    Thanks in advance,
    Aunie

  • Hey there aunief. Thanks for reaching out, and for your purchase of the PRO version. As an FYI…we handle support for PRO users in a different location than this forum. Our PRO forum – which we address once a day, versus the WP.org forum which we hit once a week – is at https://tri.be/support/forums. Going forward if you post there you will definitely get a quicker response than here on www.ads-software.com.

If you are editing a field in the single event view, that would be controlled by the single.php file in your plugin folder. Make sure that you’re not editing the core plugin, though – you’ll want to create a new ‘events’ folder in your theme directory, copy single.php to that folder and modify the copied file (rather than the original). That way next time a plugin update is released you won’t find your changes overridden.

If this doesn’t do the trick, please open a new thread on the PRO forums and we’ll get you a response in as timely a fashion as possible. Thanks!
