[Plugin: The Events Calendar] Excerpt View For Events List Page

The plugin should be showing excerpts by default but you may not actually have an excerpt input for your events so you’ll either need to manually create event excerpts one by one or use something like this to auto generate excerpts: https://www.ads-software.com/extend/plugins/auto-excerpt-everywhere/

I tried inserting a manual excerpt but didn’t have luck with that showing up. When I downloaded the plug-in you recommended that worked awesome, thanks for the help.

Dear Jonah,

I have the same problem, unfortunately it does not work..with this exerpt plugin!
I have the premium maya theme (by theme forest) and wanted to display on the overview event page only a few text… the rest of text or whole text should appear on the single event page, when I click on it…
but there arise only the same full content text as before… I can not solve this problem via CSS Style sheet, because I have no experience within… but would it be possible to leave the single events page?!?! I wont need it, because all of the information is in event list ?!?!?

You could also try https://www.ads-software.com/extend/plugins/advanced-excerpt/ but with this you’ll actually need to modify the template files to include the advanced excerpt template tag.
