[Plugin: The Events Calendar] Formatting Events Calendar..2 easy questions

I just installed the Events Calendar on a blog. Here’s the link.

As you can see, the widget appears in the sidebar without a heading. This is an anomaly as all of the other widgets are correctly formatted. So my first question is:

How do I get the widget title to appear, correctly formatted?

In addition, I would like to have the Events Calendar appear on a static page. Ideally, I would like the static page to contain a short introductory paragraph, and then use the entire column for the events calendar.

How do I get a static WP page to display the Events Calendar?
