I can’t find it either. This plugin would be PERFECT for me if there was only a shortcode to show it on a PAGE !!!

    Hello ,

I have found the solution , say if you setup the category say “event” , you will find the calender in this url

    https://www.site-url/category/events/ .

I hope your problem will be solved

    Thanks

Hi, I am new to wordpress. Still trying to figure out how to add my calendar into a page. I see your last post, but where do you set up the categories? What menu are you in?

Categories are associated with Posts, not Pages.

I don’t think you CAN show the calendar on a “Page” because there is no native ‘shortcode’ support.

You can only view a calendar by clicking the associated “Event” category link (which the plug-in automatically creates I think.)

For this reason, I’ve switched to this:

    https://www.ads-software.com/extend/plugins/events-calendar/

But where are you placing this link on your site. I’d love to know how to link the ‘View All Events’ link (gets created in your sidebar widget) up into your main navigation.

(I’d also love to do this for my posts categories).

I mean, then you wouldn’t be creating a page… but some how pointing the link in the main menu to this dynamic URL. :-\

And I guess I should add, do it with out actually going into the php code an manually putting it there (do it with in wordpress).

“how to link the ‘View All Events’ link (gets created in your sidebar widget) up into your main navigation”

If I understand your question correctly,
    1) determine (copy) the URL for the page you want a menu link to,
    2) go to Admin>Appearance>Menus and create a Custom Link:
    3) paste the URL,
    4) assign a menu name,
    5) click Add to Menu
    6) go to the bottom of the Menu list and move it to desired position

    Hope this helps!
