[Plugin: The Events Calendar] How to hide the Multi-day titles except the start day in Calendar View

Hey espidesigns. Thanks for the note here; this is an interesting request. My guess here would be that the easiest way to do this is a display:none on those additional dates, but then again this is a bit outside my area of expertise.

While I can’t guarantee anything (as this is more a customization than a bug), I’ve asked Jonah from our dev team to take a look when he’s back on Monday and to see if he can point you in the right direction. Thanks for your support and stay tuned for an update either way.

Hey again espidesigns. I had Jonah from our dev team take a look here today, and unfortunately what has been requested here is a pretty complex task. He spent some time trying to figure it out with no luck. In order to really delve in here we’d have to do some digging in the code to figure out if it’s even possible, and if it is how would be best to accomplish that without messing up the existing architecture…sadly this is outside the scope of what we’re able to provide guidance for here on the dot-org forum.

Hi roblagatta. I tried to go for the display:none approach but it seems that there’s no class or id on the events title to play around with. Too bad we can’t do it with the current version. My issue isn’t critical anyway.

I was thinking maybe you can consider putting in class names or id’s on your next versions, like how WP body_class() and post_class() work. That would open a few more ways of customization. Like how I wanted the events title to be, or each multi-day event can have unique colors or backgrounds on the calendar…
