Hi, I’ve integrated the plugin into a custom theme, built on the Genesis Theme framework and I notice that when the events page as is built by the plugin is open the state of the link (just a different colour when active) in the Primary menu doesn’t change. The menu needs the current_menu_item class when it’s active, and I wonder if that’s something that you can help me make happen?

    Thanks

Hi Dee Teal – sorry to hear this is a problem for you.

I ran up a quick test using the Quattro child theme (by StudioPress – itself running on Genesis of course) and there was no problem that I could see. I had the events page listed in a menu and the list item enclosing the link had the usual .current-menu-item class applied and it showed in a different colour as I would expect.

Could the problem be particular to some custom child theme code of yours – are you able to share a link to your site?

Hi Barry, thanks for the reply. It could be particular, but the site’s behind a maintenance wall at the moment. I’ll do a little more digging and come back to you.

Hey Dee Teal, just wanted to check in on this. I’ll be able to take point on this issue for you going forward if you need anything else.

Assuming you got this sorted, Dee Teal, so I’m marking it Resolved for now. Please let us know if you disagree.
