I’m using this plugin for some time now, but I’m still having some problems using it. When I add a new event, set-up the start & end-time, date and location (just a name, not a address) it shows the event, but the end-time of all my events is set to 0:00, which is very frustrating. When you click on a event, the right start and end-time is shown, but the location is automatically set to United States. Is there a way to change?

I hope you guys understand a little what I mean, to be shure I will include the link to the calendar here: https://www.zanggroepamice.nl/agenda

Also, when I add a Google Map to an event, the menu of the website starts flickering and is not displayed well when you go over it with your mouse.

  • Hey maxsimonse, could be a lot of things. It could be plugin and/or theme conflicts in which case you’ll want to disable all plugins and revert to the default Twenty Eleven theme to see if that fixes things.

If that doesn’t work, make sure you are running the latest version of WordPress and the plugin.

If that doesn’t work either maybe it’s the browser you are using? Try updating your browser and/or switching to a modern browser like Chrome, Safari, or Firefox…

It could also be a server issue. Check with your web host to make sure PHP and MySQL are up to date…

    I hope that helps.

Thanks for your reply. I tried every point you noticed, but it didn’t help. Everything’s up-to-date and running. I even tried to re-install the plugin, but it doesn’t delete the whole thing. When I re-installed it, all my events were back. Is there a way to permanently delete the plugin and do a clean install of the latest version?

You should be able to permanently delete the plugin by deleting your events, wiping the database and removing the code itself. Then just re-download the version you want here: https://www.ads-software.com/extend/plugins/the-events-calendar/download/. Let me know if we’ve misunderstood your request here.
