As mentioned yesterday, we’re currently reviewing the function and will decide on the best course of action in the next little bit. We’ll update this post and we’ll provide an update either via the forum, a blog post or possibly a 2.0.4 release if needed.

Same thing happens tom also. It only works the first time you create new event. If u try to edit that event you’ll never get the right location again

Hi again all. For those not wanting to use JoeMcGill’s solution here, you can all feel free to email me (rob at tri.be) for the current code. We’re somewhere between 2.0.3 and 2.1 right now, and we’d definitely be interested in having a few of you test out the code to see if it resolves your issue. (Since we haven’t been able to recreate this internally at all since 2.0.3, we’re not in the best position to test ourselves). Drop me a note and I’ll get you the code so you can try it out. Thanks!

So far the majority of users who have tested the new code have responded positively, and luckily it seems to be doing the trick for them. If anyone else is interested the offer still stands…shoot me a note, rob at tri.be.

Hi I’ve been waiting for solution – I see others are having same problem as me to update events that have already been posted – entering data fields like location or changing calendar event information. My problem is serious – I will need to shutdown my site if I’m unable to update event information – I’ve come back to this forum several times – I paid awebmaster to fix and it was fine for few weeks but problem of unable to update events has come back. Help.
