[Plugin: Theme-Check] readme.txt warning

  • The intent is to standardize on the readme format used for Plugins:

    1) It’s already a well-known standard among WP developers

    2) We have hopes, in the future, of incorporating a parser for Theme Extend pages that will pull in information from readme.txt similarly to how Plugin Extend pages pull in information from readme.txt

    Note that it was flagged as a *recommendation* only; it won’t hold up approval of your Theme. *Any* help and documentation you present to your Theme users is a welcome addition!
