Plugin to import excel -sheets to posts ???

  • I have so much postings to post (events fort he EventCalendar).
    It’s a lot of work to post them single.
    I’m looking for a plugin. Whould like to write all in an excell-sheet, or csv, or something else, and then to import the table with the whole stuff.
    Is there a plugin to do this job?

  • I don’t know of a plugin, but if you have them in a CSV format, I would think that it would be possible to have them imported directly into your database somehow.

    Perhaps this thread on importing users from a CSV could serve as a guide?

    1. It is not as simple, because the postings aren’t written in only one table

    wp_postmeta
    wp_posts

    has anyone figured out how to convert xls files to usable RSS or XML files? I have a list of about 250 entries that I want to enter and would prefer not to do this one by one. plus, the dates don’t post corectly when I write them individually as the dates are older posts.
