Plugin to make Images open in a target new window?

Is there a plugin that makes images open in a new ‘target’ window, one that has a header, advertising/banners and a link back to the blog?

In Movable Type there is a special page that ‘frames’ the expanded image –you click on a thumbnail and a new window pops up with the blog’s header, ads, and a link to ‘go back to home’.

Here’s a couple of WordPress blogs that have implemented what I’m talking about and I would like to know how they did it:

As you can see, the image does not open in a blank browser page, but in a nice page with background, header and plenty of banners and ads to ‘monetize’ that expanded image.

I would greatly appreciate ideas on how to do this, a plugin or whatever.
