Plugin to Show Blog Posts in Widget Area

  • I am building a website with the Catalyst theme, which allows you to build a custom layout home page using a variety of widgets.

    In the main body where I would normally put a welcome message, I want this website to show the 1-2 most recent blog posts. Basically, to show the blog on the front page, but also have the benefit of three widget areas along the bottom and a custom home page sidebar.

    Does anyone know of a plugin that will display a set number of blog posts?
