I got a bunch of Uptime Robot notifications overnight, then the site went completely down. I am on managed hosting and they said:

“Thanks for your patience as we dug into this. We pulled the logs and were seeing that in the slow error log the plugin dsidxpress was frequently showing up in that log. As soon as we deactivated that plugin the site began to load successfully. We’ve left it deactivated to allow the site to load. We would recommend pulling the logs to review the slow errors being thrown by that plugin and look into correcting those.”

So, having the plugin off allows the site to be online, but now all you see is a bunch of shortcodes.

Between this and not being compatible with SSL, this is not OK. I have used probably hundreds of plugins over the years and never had an experience this bad.

Yup, I’m having the same issue this morning. Whatever the company has been doing on the backend lately has been doing nothing but causing a mess. A recent server side update broke IDX pages and search. Now, I have several sites that won’t load this morning.

Has anyone gotten a response from them? My e-mail was not returned.

    Hello Jasper,

The majority of the issues have been resolved. However, there are a few things we are still working through.

I looked in our email queue and was not able to find an email from anyone named “Jasper”. Did you send the email to [email protected] ?

If you can provide me with the name / domain name for the account in question, I can be sure that someone reaches out to you or the account owner ASAP.

    Thank you,

Thanks for the response. I did send it to that email and received auto-responses. The name on the account is the clients’, and I don’t want to put his name on here. I just sent another one at 6:08 Central Time, subject is “Plugin broke site.”

Please let us know if it is safe to reactivate the plugin.

    Thanks again.

    Hi Jasper,

You should have received a response. Just be sure to respond to that ticket if you have any additional questions or concerns.

    Thank you,

I received the response, thanks. I have re-activated the plugin and it appears that the shortcodes are working again.

    Thanks again!

I’m having a problem with an IDX page not showing land for sale. There is definitely land for sale and they are listed under single family property type. Is there a new code for land/lots for sale? I have not received a response from support so I’m trying this forum.

This plugin is causing my word press site to crash. Can you please help me?

    Hi kozenab,

You’ll want to reach out to our Support Team directly to assist. The issue that the above folks experienced was an issue that was already corrected and there are no issues on our end currently causing websites to crash. So, our team will need to walk you through some processes to see if they can find the reason your site is having an issue. Most likely there is something else within your environment that is causing the issue but our team can walk you through some of these processes to narrow down the issue.

You’ll also want to provide as much information as possible about the reason you feel our plugin is causing your website to crash. The more info you can provide… the better.

    We can be reached at:

    877-348-7654
    [email protected]

    Thank you!
