When the wordpress search returns no results, it redirects to the homepage of the site.

When I deactivate total widget control it works fine.
    Anyone experience with that?

    Regards Dennis

I plan on doing some fixes this Saturday, march 12 2011. I’ll look into this, what search are you referring to? The widget list search, the wp-admin search or the front end search?

    Hi,

I meant the front end search, tried it on a clean wordpress installation. No issues there, so i guess the problem is in this particular blog I’m building.

    Still strange though

I’ll let you now if I find anything

I just tested the admin, front end and the widget list. had one issue with the widget list that I fixed. The others worked fine.

If you want to email me with access credentials I can go test it out on the blog that you’re having problems with.

    hi John,

I don’t want to give you credentials because its a live corporate site.

I’m trying to make a copy of the installation but unfortunate, the issues don’t occur there. I think it has to do with headers already sent. the page not found functionality is not working either.

I run my development server on error_reporting strict so that I code very valid code. I also continuously check on sending data to the buffer before it’s time. Not to say that I didn’t miss something, but it’s not likely to have that kind of error in this plugin.

Hmm… and you disabled all of the other plugins already..

Did you change the theme and test again? I wonder if it’s a conflict between twc and your theme. Is your search a widget?

Jon, your posts were spammed somehow. Cleaned ’em out for you.

It meant no one but you (and the forum mods) could see your posts! Sometimes the spam catcher gets over exuberant.

Awh! I was thinking it could have meant that, but wasn’t sure. Thank you for fixing that.
